What this site is
Big Licence is an independent English-language guide to casino licences for UK readers. It covers which regulator issues a licence, what the licence asks of a casino, what it does and does not mean for a player, how to check it in the regulator's own register and which casinos hold it.
The site is not a casino or a regulator. It takes no bets and holds no money.
Nothing links the site to the UK Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority, the Curacao Gaming Authority, Anjouan Gaming, the Gibraltar Gambling Division or any casino. The regulators' logos appear for reference only, as each regulator's own public website serves them. They do not mean an endorsement or a partnership.
The site gives no legal advice and no advice to gamble. It cannot promise that a licensed casino will pay, and it never describes a way around the UK self-exclusion scheme.

The team
This page describes how the team works. Every page is written by the Big Licence team, which has its own page at The Big Licence team. No named person is set.
The steps are set out in How we check casino licences.

If you think we are wrong
A regulator can change a rule, and a page can contain a mistake. If a fact here does not match a regulator's own page or register, tell the team at the address under Contact.
